Scientists risk career suicide by opposing the Church of Climatology. Not to mention, climate legislation will guarantee steady income for a plethora of niche scientists, who are in much greater supply than legitimate demand would ever accommodate. And, finally... with a climate bill being Obama's 2nd biggest priority, I don't think ABC is going to be airing the climate science fair from the white house anytime soon.

As far as Earth-emotion: Bluntly, Global Warming has become a religion. In their eyes skeptics no longer exist. You either show full compliance with sacrificing whatever is needed by the "climate" to prevent the imoending apocalypse, or you continue to live a life of sin that rapidly shortens the date to damnation.

Even the slightest doubt earns you the label of denier (and more recently "Denialist"). Everyone is either Jesus, or is holding a nail. And Lord Gore has made it clear that if Jesus has to die for the sinners again, there will be no Easter.

Al Gore claims the debate is over. But the debate never happened. Scientists still risk career suicide by opposing the Church of Climatology.JCredhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01900722109037000339noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3414830452519368525.post-72448288276600587882009-04-30T18:02:00.000-08:002009-04-30T18:02:00.000-08:00Beauty? Class catalogs should disclose a professor's religion and politics to potential students - this would insure no surprises for (or discrimination against) conservatives, especially in public universities. They are misdirecting the argument by saying it is a Democratic DOJ that let him off but a Republican DOJ that prosecuted as if Bush wanted Stevens to lose his seat.

Partisan politics are infuriating.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
